Water Maker

We were finally able to check off another project from the cruising to-do list last week; we installed the CruiseRO SeaMaker30. It's a 110vac 30GPH modular water maker that runs off of our Honda 2000 generator.
We ordered it right before the Covid-19 shelter in place order and Rich and the good folks at CruiseRO Water and Power were able to get it shipped out in record time. We received it in just a few days.
The SIP order gave us a great reason to get started on the install. So in the evenings after working from home (Boat), we were able to get the unit installed and tested and have now made about 200 gallons of water, all while at anchor at Treasure Island in the San Francisco bay.
We found a great place under the port Saloon settee for the high pressure pump and membranes, and forward of that we placed the boost pump, filters and valving. Behind the seat back is a little cubby that is perfect for the control panel with pathway for the electrical and tubing to get to where they needed to go.
All in all it was a great project that we will utilize for years to come.
